Dear Colleagues,
As you may have heard, this year's EPDET program has been merged into IPDET 2.0, following an agreement between the World Bank, EPDET (European Program for Development Evaluation Training), the Center for Evaluation (CEval) and the University of Bern.
This decision by EPDET and IPDET to merge their respective programs under one umbrella - IPDET 2.0 - will support greater alignment for meeting the needs of the international evaluation community, allow for more streamlined and updated educations offerings, and for tailoring evaluation training to the needs of the different regions.
We are delighted that the leadership of EPDET Daniel Svoboda and Dyma Svec will be involved in the delivery of the IPDET 2.0 program: www.ipdet.org

EPDET 2018 was planned on 16 – 21 September 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic. Following an agreement between the World Bank's Independent Evaluation Group, EPDET (European Program for Development Evaluation Training), the Center for Evaluation (CEval) and the University of Bern, this year's EPDET program has been merged into IPDET 2.0.

What is IPDET?

The 5th evaluation Summer school EPDET 2011 - European Program for Development Evaluation Training took place in Vilanec (Czech Republic) on 19 - 25 September 2011.
For EPDET 2011, we have registered 56 participants from 24 countries.

Slovak DET 2010 took place on 24 - 29 October 2010 in Mosovce. European offering of the International Programme for Development Evaluation Training (www.ipdet.org) is organized by the Slovak Evaluation Society (www.evaluation.sk) in cooperation with the civic association Development Worldwide, the International Development Evaluation Association (www.ideas-int.org) and the Czech Evaluation Society (www.czecheval.cz).

International Development Evaluation Training Czech DET 2008 took place in Kamenice nad Lipou on 14 - 20 September 2008, for more information see the final program and evaluation of the training. DWW is going to open the third international summer school of Development Evaluation Training Czech DET 2009. More information will be published in March 2009.

Training was supported from the grant programme "Capacities" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and of the Development Centre of the Institute of International Relations. Training was organised by civic association Development Worldwide (DWW) in cooperation with IDEAS - International Development Evaluation Association and a regional offering of the International Programme for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET).
